Abstract Festival

Challenge.

Create the visual identity for a new electronic music festival in the heart of London, at the dynamic Clapham Common. The goal: design an image that is impactful, modern, and unifying, capable of attracting a discerning international audience while standing out in London’s already rich cultural landscape.

Process.

The art direction is built around a vibrant, immersive gradient, blending shades of pink, purple, and blue to evoke nighttime energy and the electrifying atmosphere of electronic sets. The typography, bold and rounded, captures attention and reflects the power of sound, while white contrasts ensure clarity and legibility outdoors. The result is a coherent visual language, designed to be applied across all festival materials: print, posters, social media, and merchandising.

Impact.

The branding positions the festival as a must-attend event on the European electronic music scene, striking a balance between accessibility and premium appeal. The immersive color palette and strong design make the festival instantly recognizable, engaging both local attendees and international audiences, while establishing a solid visual identity for future editions.
